Description

TV Asahi Co. was founded on 1st November 1959 under the name Nihon Kyouiku Terebi (English: Nihon Educational Television Co., Ltd., short: NET).
Just about a year later the company was renamed to NET TV. In 1973 they renamed the company again to NET General Television and only four years after that, on 1st April 1977, they changed names once more to Asahi National Broadcasting Company Limited.

TV Asahi Co. wurde am 1. November 1959 unter dem Namen Nihon Kyouiku Terebi (engl. Nihon Educational Television Co., Ltd., kurz: NET) gegründet.
Etwa ein Jahr später wurde der Sender in NET TV umbenannt. Im Jahr 1973 gab es eine erneute Umbenennung in NET General Television, woraufhin am 1. April 1977 die Umbenennung in Asahi National Broadcasting Company Limited erfolgte.
