Emotion Music wurde am 25.06.1986 gegründet und war für die Produktion von Musik- und Sprachaufnahmen für Animes und Computerspiele zuständig. 2006 wurde die Firma in Emotion Co., Ltd. umbenannt.

Im Jahr 2009 wurde das Musikgeschäft vollständig an Lantis Co., Ltd. übertragen, woraufhin sich das Unternehmen der Bearbeitung und Veröffentlichung von Web-Comics und elektronischen Büchern widmete. Dabei entstanden die beiden Webcomic-Portale Web Comic Gekkin und Shuu 2 Comic Gekkin, deren Mangas im Tankoubon-Format unter dem Comic Imprint „Emotion Comics“ herausgebracht wurden.

Am 1. April 2011 wurde Emotion Co., Ltd. von der Firma Bandai Visual Co., Ltd. übernommen, die seitdem die beiden Webportale mit dem dazugehörigen Comic Imprint weiterführt.
