EIKEN Co., Ltd.

Eiken was founded under the name Nippon Televison Co., Ltd. in 1952. 1969, the name was changed to Television Corporation of Japan Co.,Ltd. Since 1973, the studio has had the name Eiken.

In July 2002, the ad agency Asatsu-DK Inc. bought about 70 % of the shares and Eiken became a subsidiary of Asatsu-DK. At the same time, Fuji Television Network bought about 10 %.

Im Juli 2002 kaufte die Werbeagentur Asatsu-DK Inc. ca. 70 % der Aktien und Eiken wurde ein Tochterunternehmen von Asatsu-DK. Zur selben Zeit kaufte auch Fuji Television Network ca. 10 %.
