AT-X was founded as a subsidiary of Media Net and TV Tokyo on the 26th June 2000. The company’s main purpose is to maintain the tv channel AT-X, which was already maintained by Media Net and TV Tokyo before the company’s founding and showed anime exclusively in Japan.
