Ausbruch der Zombieapokalypse in Tokyo … Student Semeya und seine Nachhilfeschülerin Minamori sehen sich schon bald von Untoten umzingelt. Natürlich schwört der Student, ganz nach alter Tradition, seine Schülerin zu beschützen. Zuerst verschanzen sich die beiden zu Hause, doch als bald darauf der Strom ausfällt, treibt die Hitze die beiden nach draußen. Bewaffnet mit Haushaltsgegenständen machen sie sich auf die Suche nach Hilfe oder einer neuen Zuflucht. Schon wenig später treffen sie auf andere Überlebende … und die ersten Zombies greifen sie an!
