Waise Tomoya verliert mit dem Tod der alten Dame Kaname Tsukiyama seine einzige Vertraute. Trauernd verbringt Tomoya die Tage nach ihrem plötzlichen Tod in ihrem alten Haus, das für ihn voller glücklicher Erinnerungen ist. Da taucht aus heiterem Himmel Hikaru Tatsui dort auf, der sich als Enkel der alten Kaname vorstellt. Völlig überraschend bittet er Tomoya, mit ihm in dem Haus zu wohnen. Tomoya passt das anfangs gar nicht, doch dann bemerkt er, dass man den depressiv wirkenden Hikaru, der gesundheitliche Probleme zu haben scheint, nicht alleine lassen kann. Und dann verliebt Tomoya sich auch noch in ihn…
