Kotobuki Tanaka, ein 15-jähriger Oberschüler mit einem fragwürdigen Geschmack für Mädchen, lebt allein mit seinem Vater zusammen, der als Forscher für einen Pharmakonzern arbeitet. Doch sein Vater ist ein richtiger Workaholic und oft wochenlang nicht zu Hause, weshalb Tanaka mehr bei seinen Nachbarn und seiner Kindheitsfreundin aufwächst als bei seiner Familie.

Eines Tages stößt er auf dem Weg zur Schule mit einem kleinen Mädchen zusammen und Tanaka kommt es so vor, als sei ein Engel vom Himmel herabgestiegen. Zu seiner freudigen Überraschung sucht ihn das kleine Mädchen später in der Schule auf, denn es hat ihm etwas wichtiges mitzuteilen.
