Ami! Nonstop (1993)

Every week the Pop station picks a high school girl off of the street and puts her on the camera to say one message to the whole city and to be named the ‘Delicious Girl’ of that week. This week the cute and popular 16-year-old Misasagi Ami is picked and she announces that she is looking for a boyfriend. She is determined to find her first boyfriend, even though she already has a huge fan club. But finally she meets a cute boy in the street that she developed feelings for quickly. It’s the one and only Mizukami Nozomu, a boy who oddly resembles a singer in the popular band ‘Darwin’. Ami begins to wonder if Mizukami Nozomu has any relations with Midou Nozomu, the famous singer from ‘Darwin’

Amy ist ein ganz normales Schulmädchen. Eines Tages, als sie gerade mit ihren Freunden unterwegs ist, wird sie von einem Kamerateam gestoppt, das gerne ein Interview mit dem süßen Mädchen machen will. Kurz danach trifft Ami einem blonden Jungen namens Nozomu, der auf ihre Schule geht. Es scheint, als habe er großes Interesse an dem Mädchen. Doch als Ami zu »Darwin«, einer Gruppe, bestehend aus zwei Sängern, geht, trifft sie beim Konzert auf einen weiteren Nozomu. Nach ihrer Begegnung mit Darwin, findet sich Ami nun in der Unterhaltungsindustrie wieder, denn so manche Leute finden seit dem Live-Interview Gefallen an dem Mädchen.
