Die 3 Kapitel umspannende Hauptstory beschäftigt sich mit dem Schüler Mochida »Maki« Masaki, welcher in der Grundschule gemobbt wurde und so lernte, seinen Körper zu seinem Schutz einzusetzen. So bezaubert und angelt er sich die stärkste Person in der Schule, damit dieser ihn vor potentiellen Mobbern schützen kann. Das Zusammentreffen mit seinem Klassenkameraden Aihara Ryuuji ändert jedoch nach und nach seine Ansicht über die Liebe.

Des Weiteren beinhaltet der Band noch eine kurze Story über Sawaguchi Mirai, der aufs Land fährt und etwas unerwartetes erlebt sowie eine längere Story oder, genauer gesagt den eigentlichen Anfang von Mankai Darling: Murakami Takashi möchte das Herz von Sakurai Ryui, einem Mitarbeiter in einem Blumenladen, gewinnen. So bekommt er nicht mit, dass er selbst einen Verehrer hat, der es auf äußerst merkwürdige Weise zeigt. Fujimori Haruhiko, der perverse Manager des Ladens funkt ihm ständig dazwischen.
