Mitten in einem großen Distrikt von Tokio explodiert ein Mann auf der Straße bei strahlender Sonne, einfach so schwillt er an und platzt. Der Mann und die blutbespritzten Zeugen werden ins Krankenhaus gebracht, jedoch haben die Ärzte so etwas noch nie gesehen. Schnell kommt der Verdacht Ebola auf, doch was wenn es doch etwas ganz anderes ist!? Ein neuer Virus.

Dopo aver eseguito l’ autopsia, i dottori Onodera e Sekiguchi ipotizzano che la causa della morte sia un’infezione virale. Nel frattempo Akari Misaki, una studentessa delle superiori che si trovava per caso nel luogo del decesso , inizia ad accusare strani sintomi come reagirá una nazione come il Giappone a un’epidemia senza precedenti?
