Nachdem die vierzehnjährige Ichigo Amano ihren Traumberuf gefunden hat - sie möchte unbedingt eine Pâtissière (Konditorin) werden - schreibt sie sich auf der renommierten Schule St. Marie-Akademie ein, die sich auf diesen Berufszweig spezialisiert hat. Leider ist Ichigo aber sehr ungeschickt und hat so gut wie keine Erfahrung mit der Konditorei, deswegen fällt ihr Start ins Konditorgeschäft dementsprechend schlecht aus. Eines Tages trifft sie dann auf den Süßigkeitengeist Vanilla, die ihr von da an zur Seite steht und mit ihrer Hilfe schafft es Ichigo ihrem Traum ein Stück näher zu kommen.
