Während Chica in einer Rettungskapsel schläft, soll diese die Erde verlassen, damit sie dem tödlichen Einschlag eines Asteroiden entkommt. Als sie erwacht befindet sie sich in einer fernen Zukunft, aber immer noch auf der Erde. Diese ist nun mit seltsamen Lebewesen wie fliegenden Fischen bevölkert. Der Android-Wächter Roy und die Dienstmädchen-Androidin Silvia kümmern sich nun um Chica. Sie trifft auch einen geheimnisvollen, freundlichen Mann mit Katzenohren, der sich als Oboro vorstellt. Alle Zukunftslebewesen sind fasziniert von ihr, da sie ein „Original“ Mensch ist, aber vergessen manchmal die körperlichen Grenzen der menschlichen Lebensform. Wird Chica in der Lage sein, sich an diese fremde neue Welt zu gewöhnen?
