Una chica llamda Yui la cual su padre era un shonma errante, fue bautizada con la sangre de Miyu, la vigilante de los Shinma. Yui se convirtió en princesa de los vampiros, por lo que se hizo inmortal... Al mismo tiempo, no obstante, ese bautismo hizo que despertase el poder de la sangre de la princesa que gobierna a los shi que heredó de su madre. Los poderosos de los pueblos extraños, los Shi, empezaron a temerla y enviaron a sicarios para asesinarla. Al final Yui decidió abandonar su tierra natal y empezó a vivir vagando con Nagi, el inmortal...
