Mariko, mit Codenamen »Rose Marie«, ist die Anführerin der Antiterrorismusgruppe CAT (Counter Attack Terrorism). Ihr Ehemann und ihr Sohn sind einem von Terroristen ausgeführten Bombenanschlag auf ein Flugzeug zum Opfer gefallen. Obwohl sie sich ebenfalls in dem Flugzeug befand, ist die einzige Wunde, die sie davongetragen hat eine rosenförmige Narbe auf ihrer Brust. Nun steht ein geheimes Gipfeltreffen in der Schweiz an, in welchem Maries Team eingesetzt wird. Es wird jedoch bald klar, dass sich die Terroristen bereits in Bewegung gesetzt haben, um das Treffen zu sabotieren.
