Ken Nishikagi (Deckname HOLMES), die gleichaltrige Mako Kitahara (Deckname MARPLE) und der Viertklässler Asashi Kogoro (KOGORO) bilden ein unschlagbares Schnüfflerteam, das im Auftrag einer Geheimabteilung der Tokioter Polizei ermittelt – und zwar so erfolgreich wie unterhaltsam!
