Mondlicht ist die Bezeichnung für eine den Vampiren sehr ähnliche Spezies, die sich schon seit Ewigkeiten auf der Flucht befindet. Als potenzielle Bedrohung für die Menschen, sollen die »Mondlichter« ausgelöscht werden und diese Aufgabe haben die humanoiden Geschöpfe des Dr. Victor Frankensteins übernommen. Der Manga erzählt die Geschichte einer kleinen Gruppe von »Mondlichtern«, die plötzlich unerwartete Hilfe erhält - gerade eines von Frankensteins »Monstern« will sie beschützen. Aber ist die junge Frau F11 wirklich ein Monster?

Le Mondlicht régnait autrefois sur la nuit. Mais au XVIIIe siècle, des cyborgs conçus par le docteur Frankenstein se sont employés à éliminer ses membres pour finalement conduire à l’extinction du Clan de la Lune. Soixante ans plus tard, des survivants du Mondlicht sont découverts au Japon. Une nouvelle confrontation débute alors entre le clan et les cyborgs. C’est alors que surgit un allié inattendu, une princesse privé depuis toujours de conscience ... et d’âme.
