Die Schülerin Matsuri Takanose ist im ersten Jahr der Oberschule. Ihre Mutter, Vorsitzende der Schule, verlangt absolute Perfektion von ihrer gestressten Tochter. Eines Tages, nachdem Matsuri ein nervenraubendes Gespräch mit ihrer Mutter im Büro führte, trifft sie auf zwei Jungen, die sie ausnahmsweise nicht so schlimm behandeln. Nach dieser Begegnung ändert sich der Alltag von Matsuri, die es ihrer Lieblingssängerin gleich machen will und sich in eine Dreiecksbeziehung mit dem ruhigen Takemasa Andou und dem smarten, sportlichen Kaguya Watanuki, stürzt.
