Utsuru Sanada ist ein 17 Jahre alter, professioneller Fotograf. Er kann die exakten drei Größen jedes Mädchens erraten, sich alles merken was er sieht und er kann jeden Angriff kontern. Warum? Er hat ein hervorragendes fotografisches Gedächtnis, genannt »Shutter Eye«. Eines Tages lernt er die schöne Niko Kurihara kennen, die weibliche Protagonistin, die Abneigung gegenüber Männern empfindet und eine Meisterin der Kampfkunst ist. Utsuru versucht Niko zu beweisen, dass er nicht der Kerl ist, für den sie ihn hält, damit er ein Bild von ihr machen kann.
