Hina ist an ihrer Schule sehr beliebt und scheint von außen ein sehr höfliches und nettes Mädchen zu sein. Doch der Schein trügt. Denn Hina ist ein Otaku wie er im Buche steht und hat auch die passende Persönlichkeit. Nur ihre beste Freundin Nanami kennt ihr Geheimnis. Als sie eines Tages einen Manga liest, bekommt sie einen Schock. Einer ihrer Lieblingscharaktere sagt, dass er Otakus hasst. Aus diesem Grund beschließt Hina, ihr Otakudasein aufzugeben. Zusammen mit Nanami geht Hina in einen Laden, um ihre über Jahre angesammelte und wertvolle Sammlung zu verkaufen. Zu ihrem Leidwesen arbeitet dort ihr Klassenkamerad Takayama, der sie sofort erkennt. Nun setzt Hina alles daran, ihn daran zu hindern, irgendjemanden von ihrem Besuch im Laden zu erzählen.
