Es gibt einen geheimen Kampfclub für die Reichen und Einflussreichen. Die Sponsoren, »Master« genannt, besitzen ihre Kämpfer, sog. »Steeds«, und die Steeds müssen allem gehorchen was der Master befiehlt. Die Kämpfe variieren stark und es treten oft völlig unterschiedliche Gegner an, z.B. ein Boxer gegen einen Judo-Meister. Der Steed, der bei einem Kampf verliert, wird dann vor aller Augen sexuell gedemütigt, das ist für die meisten Besucher das Hauptevent.
Es gibt einen Geschäftsmann, der bisher nicht als Master angetreten ist, obwohl er sehr einflussreich ist und es viele Steeds gibt, die ihn gerne als Master hätten. Doch dieser Master taucht dann völlig überraschend mit einem unbekannten Steed auf. Sind die beiden wirklich bloß Master und Steed?
