Wolfsmund (2009)

Wolfsmund is a story set in the European Alps during the beginning of the 14th century. A ruthless gatekeeper stands watch at Wolfsmund — "the Mouth of the Wolf," a fortress checkpoint at the St. Gotthard Pass going into Italy. Travelers from all walks of life try to pass through the way station, but they must first face interrogation by the gatekeeper. Things rarely end well for those who attempt the passing.

»Wolfsmund« spielt in der Schweiz des 14. Jahrhunderts. Die Geschichten drehen sich dabei um Menschen, die an der titelgebenden Festung im Gotthardpass vorbei wollen – oft auf illegalem Weg. Dabei machen sie früher oder später mit dem Aufseher der Festung Bekanntschaft. Als sadistischer Tyrann, wie er im Buche steht, bereitet es ihm nicht nur Freude, die Verbrecher zu bestrafen; er ist auch bekannt dafür, noch nie versagt zu haben.
