Nach einem Motorrad-Unfall wacht Shiori Kikukawa im Krankenhaus auf und kann sich an nichts mehr erinnern. Auf einmal sind alle Menschen wie Fremde für sie, ihr fürsorglicher, fröhlicher großer Bruder, ihre introvertierte kleine Schwester, die sie augenscheinlich zu hassen scheint, und der nach »Yankee« aussehende Junge, der sich als ihr Freund ausgibt.

Allerdings soll es nicht nur bei diesen Schwierigkeiten bleiben. Als sie das erste Mal nach dem Unfall die Schule besucht, muss Shiori schnell feststellen, dass es allerlei Gerüchte über ihr altes Ich gibt, die alles andere als angenehm sind. Schon bald steht sie alleine und ohne Erinnerungen da.

Doch war sie wirklich so ein schrecklicher Mensch vor dem Unfall? Und wird sie sich wieder erinnern können?
