Kou Shiraishi was your standard high school boy with lots of problems, mostly bullies, until the day that he meets Mikuru Nazume during a bank heist. Not only is Mikuru the school idol, but she’s also an agent for Minkei, a covert paramilitary section of the National Police Agency. They team up as Kou and Mikuru journey to become stronger, both in their own way.

Giappone, un vicino futuro. Le forze di polizia non riescono a contrastare il vorticoso aumento dei crimini, in particolare di quelli commessi con l’utilizzo di armi leggere. Per far fronte a quest’emergenza viene istituito il “Corpo della Polizia Civile”, meglio noto come CPC, un’agenzia privata che “subappalta” agenti specializzati pronti a fronteggiare anche le situazioni più estreme. E uno dei migliori agenti della tredicesima sezione del CPC è la procace Nazume Mikuru, professione… studentessa! La vita già movimentata di Mikuru subisce uno scossone inaspettato quando il debole e inetto compagno di scuola Ko decide di arruolarsi nel CPC per dare una svolta alla sua vita.
