Annotation:
An English-subbed version was aired on KIKU-TV (Hawaii) during the 1990s. Anime Sols streamed 13 subbed episodes in 2013.
Die Geschichte beginnt mit dem Treffen unseres Helden, Kakeru, und einem mystischem Pony namens Blink. Kakeru rettet Blink vor einem Gewitterschauer. Blink erzählt ihm aus Dankbarkeit, dass, falls Kakeru jemals in Schwierigkeiten stecken sollte, er nur Blinks Namen rufen braucht um ihn herbeizurufen. Als Kakeru am Ende des Sommers nach Hause kommt, wird sein Vater, ein Autor von Kindergeschichten, gekidnappt. Kakeru ruft weinend Blinks Namen und wie versprochen erscheint er und beide verfolgen die Spur von Kakerus Vater.

Die letzte Anime Serie vom bekannten Mangaka Osamu Tezuka, der noch während der Produktion verstarb.
