Synopsis

High school student Shiokaze Umino is a recruit to the military who has been identified as having special skills but has yet to hone them. It is the aftermath of World War II, and with another war with Russia looming, Japan has developed a new type of fighter pilot unit. The “Virgin Fleet” consists of several female pilots who control their fighter planes with “Virgin Energy”, a kind of supernatural energy that only a few can use. And this is where Shiokaze’s talents come into play. Together with her friends Satsuki and Komachi, she prepares for the coming battles while trying to lead an ordinary school life on the side.
