Synopsis

The adventures of Hajime Kindaichi, the grandson of the famous detective Kosuke Kindaichi, go into the next round! Once again, numerous mysterious cases are to be solved, and confusing crimes deciphered that would pose almost insurmountable challenges even for the most experienced detectives. The prelude is a magic show in Hong Kong, which Hajime, Miyuki and Kenmochi attend on the occasion of the opening of a new hotel. Soon, the mysteries become entangled, which could bring to light a murderous secret that has been kept under lock and key for 18 years, and an old adversary also makes an unexpected appearance. But no matter how difficult it may be, Hajime is determined to solve the case.
