Sekko Boys (2016)

In “Sekko Boys”, Miki Ishimoto attends a not particularly prestigious art school and is happy to graduate and get away from all the sculptures finally. To her delight, she soon gets a job at the Holbein Entertainment Co. agency. But her luck doesn’t end there because, on her very first day, she learns that she’s supposed to manage a newly formed idol group. Things can’t get much better than that!

But it can get worse because her department is responsible for sculptures. And so Miki is blindsided when she learns that her idol group, the Rockies, consists of four stone statues: Saint Giorgio, Mars, Hermes and Medici. Miki is now supposed to lead the four figures to success, but can she succeed in this highly competitive business under these conditions?

In »Sekko Boys« hat Miki Ishimoto eine nicht sonderlich renommierte Kunstschule besucht und ist nun heilfroh, endlich ihren Abschluss zu haben und damit weg von all diesen Skulpturen zu kommen. Zu ihrer Freude erhält schon bald einen Job in der Agentur Holbein Entertainment Co., doch damit hört ihr Glück nicht auf, denn direkt am ersten Tag erfährt sie: Sie soll ein frisch gegründete Idolgruppe managen. Viel besser kann es doch eigentlich nicht kommen!

Schlechter hingegen schon, denn ihre Abteilung ist für Skulpturen zuständig. Und so fällt Miki aus allen Wolken, als sie erfährt, dass ihre Idolgruppe, die Rockies, aus vier Steinstatuen besteht: Saint Giorgio, Mars, Hermes und Medici. Diese vier Gestalten soll Miki jetzt zum Erfolg führen, doch kann ihr das in diesem hart umkämpften Business bei den Voraussetzungen überhaupt gelingen?
