Tristia of the Deep Blue Sea (2004)

The port city of Tristia was once a thriving trading metropolis, but since a dragon attack took place many years ago, it has lost much of its former glory. The inhabitants ask the great inventor Prospero to help them rebuild the city, but instead of travelling there himself, he sends his talented granddaughter Nanoca Flanka to a distant place to boost the settlement’s economy in his stead. She is assisted in this task by the wolf-like artificial creature Stuka and Tenzan, a mechanical golem built for her by her grandfather. However, Nanoca gets a serious competitor shortly after her arrival because her arch-rival, Panavia Tornado, wants to prove that she is, in fact, the better engineer …

Die Hafenstadt Tristia war einst eine blühende Handelsmetropole, doch seit einem Drachenangriff vor vielen Jahren hat sie viel von ihrem einstigen Glanz verloren. Die Bewohner bitten den großartigen Erfinder Prospero ihnen beim Wiederaufbau der Stadt zu helfen, doch statt selbst anzureisen, schickt er seine talentierte Enkelin Nanoca Flanka an den entfernten Ort, damit sie an seiner Stelle die Wirtschaft der Siedlung ankurbelt. Bei dieser Aufgabe steht ihr neben dem wolfsähnlichen künstlichen Geschöpf Stuka noch Tenzan zur Seite, einen großen mechanischen Golem, den ihr Großvater für sie gebaut hat. Nanoca bekommt jedoch bereits kurz nach ihrer Ankunft eine ernstzunehmende Konkurrentin, denn ihre Erzrivalin Panavia Tornado möchte beweisen, dass sie in Wirklichkeit die bessere Ingenieurin ist …

Tristia, la cual prosperaba desempeñando un papel importante en el comercio marítimo, y era tan hermosa que se la conocía como la joya marina. Sin embargo, eso fue hace tiempo, antes del ataque de los dragones que privaron a la ciudad de su brillo original. Pese al esfuerzo que pusieron los habitantes en la reconstrucción de su ciudad, todo fue en vano, y la ciudad siguió desolada. Al final, los ciudadanos de Tristia, pidieron ayuda a un gran artesano, Prospero Flanka. Prospero era un inventor legendario que había devuelto su antiguo esplendor a todas las ciudades por las que pasaba. El día esperado durante largo tiempo llega cuando Prospero, el gran artesano, aparece en la ciudad...
