Zwei Gentlemen begeben sich mit ihren Hunden in den Wald, um Wild zu jagen. Doch im Verlauf des Tages finden sie kein einziges Tier und als sich langsam der Hunger bei ihnen bemerkbar macht, stoßen sie mitten im Wald auf ein seltsames Restaurant.

Chuumon no Ooi Ryouriten (1994) ist die dritte animierte Umsetzung der gleichnamigen japanischen Kurzgeschichte aus der Feder von Kenji Miyazawa. Im Gegensatz zu seinen Vorgängern ist diese Version jedoch sehr schlecht dokumentiert und scheint nach seiner Veröffentlichung beinahe in Vergessenheit geraten zu sein, weshalb selbst das genaue Erscheinungsdatum nicht bekannt ist. Häufig kam es hier auch zu Verwechslungen mit der Stummfilmversion, welche kurz zuvor erschienen war.
