Synopsis

Thirty years after a violent war broke out in the near future, civilisation has been all but wiped out, and the cities consist only of abandoned ruins. The people who survived the war live in seclusion because autonomous war machines ensure that no one sets foot in enemy territory, and if anyone does, they are immediately attacked. A young soldier ventures into one of these abandoned cities and, after an attack, finds shelter in a run-down building that turns out to be a planetarium. There he is immediately greeted by an android girl named Yumemi Hoshino, who has apparently been left behind. Yumemi is very happy to finally have a customer again after many years and wants to show him the beautiful starry sky, but her projector no longer works …
