Synopsis

The beautiful land of Altea is attacked by the evil mage Gharnef, and although the defenders’ forces are not exactly weak, they are no match for his mighty power. Not many survive these horrors, but Prince Marth, the heir to the kingdom’s throne, receives help from his sister Elice at the crucial moment and manages to leave the country’s borders behind him. He finally finds refuge in the peaceful island kingdom of Talus, where he has lived out his days ever since, and has even found a good friend in Princess Shiida. They go shopping together or stand on the terrace and look out over the countryside. But no matter how beautiful these moments may be, he can’t get the face of his sister, who sacrificed herself for him, out of his mind, and his wish is to be able to free his homeland one day.
