Anime Description

After the incident involving Heath Oslo, the existence of the US-Japanese anti-terror organization CIRS became public knowledge. As a result, CIRS was radically restructured and its various responsibilities were transferred to the new organisation SORD (“Social Ops, Research & Development”). SORD’s objective is the training of a new generation of agents that will defend the country against future threats. To this end, the organisation has established a number of schools across the country. Mihama Academy, which has been abandoned after its sudden closure, has also found a new purpose and has thus been transformed into a “specialist training facility”.

This new Mihama Academy is now home to a group of students who work day in and day out to improve their unique skills. This school accommodates and teaches social outcasts and misfits that are mostly young girls. With no regard for their own safety, they keep on throwing themselves into dangerous missions—all for the good of the country that rejected them.
