In this anime adaptation of Keisuke Itagaki’s manga, we turn our attention to its “Most Evil Death Row Convicts” story arc. Baki Hanma is still fully dedicated to his hard training to one day become strong enough to surpass his father, Yujiro Hanma – the strongest fighter in the world. But now Baki is confronted with a completely new challenge because five of the most brutal and violent convicts from death row have come together to compete against Baki. But they are not out for Baki’s life – no, on the contrary – they are tired of their own lives. Their own strength and fighting skills have ensured that the five hardly meet any serious competition and feel bored with life itself. Now they want to take on Baki in order to once again enjoy a fight to the death, hoping he can finally finish them off.

In the face of this crisis, Baki finds himself surrounded by other underground martial artists: Kaoru Hanayama, Gouki Shibukawa, Retsu Kaiou and Doppo Orochi find themselves supporting him. A trial of strength without equal begins between the most brutal fighters Death Row has to offer and Baki and his friends …!

Baki Hanma gibt sich nach wie vor voll und ganz seinem harten Training hin, um eines Tages stark genug zu werden, seinen Vater Yujiro Hanma – den stärksten Kämpfer der Welt – zu übertreffen. Doch nun sieht Baki sich mit einer ganz neuen Herausforderung konfrontiert, denn fünf der brutalsten und gewalttätigsten Verurteilten aus dem Todestrakt haben sich zusammengefunden, um gegen Baki anzutreten. Dabei haben sie aber es nicht etwa auf Bakis Leben abgesehen – nein, im Gegenteil –, sondern sind selbst ihres eigenen Lebens überdrüssig. Ihre eigene Stärke und ihre Fähigkeiten im Kampf haben dafür gesorgt, dass die fünf kaum noch auf ernstzunehmende Konkurrenz treffen und sich vom Leben selbst gelangweilt fühlen. Nun wollen sie es mit Baki aufnehmen, um noch einmal in den Genuss eines Kampfes um Leben und Tod zu kommen und hoffen dabei darauf, dass dieser ihnen endlich den Garaus machen kann.

Im Angesicht dieser Krise findet Baki sich umgeben von anderen Kampfkünstlern des Untergrundes: Kaoru Hanayama, Gouki Shibukawa, Retsu Kaiou und Doppo Orochi finden sich ein, um ihn zu unterstützen. Ein Kräftemessen, das seinesgleichen sucht, zwischen den brutalsten Kämpfern, die der Todestrakt zu bieten hat und Baki und seinen Freunden beginnt …!

Dans cette adaptation anime du manga « Baki » de Keisuke Itagaki, nous nous intéressons à l’arc narratif « Most Evil Death Row Convicts ». Baki Hanma se consacre toujours entièrement à son entraînement acharné afin de devenir un jour assez fort pour surpasser son père Yujiro Hanma, le combattant le plus fort du monde. Mais Baki est à présent confronté à un tout nouveau défi, car cinq des condamnés les plus brutaux et violents du couloir de la mort se sont réunis pour se mesurer à Baki. Mais ils n’en veulent pas à la vie de Baki, non, au contraire, mais sont fatigués de leur propre vie. Grâce à leur force et à leurs aptitudes au combat, ils ne rencontrent pratiquement aucune concurrence sérieuse et s’ennuient. Ils veulent maintenant s’attaquer à Baki pour se livrer une fois de plus à un combat à mort, en espérant qu’il puisse enfin les achever.

Face à cette crise, Baki se retrouve entouré d’autres artistes martiaux clandestins : Kaoru Hanayama, Gouki Shibukawa, Retsu Kaiou et Doppo Orochi se retrouvent à lui venir en aide. Une épreuve de force sans égal commence entre les combattants les plus brutaux que le Couloir de la Mort a à offrir et Baki et ses amis… !

In questo adattamento anime del manga «Baki» di Keisuke Itagaki ci dedichiamo all’arco narrativo di «Most Evil Death Row Convicts». Baki Hanma si dedica come sempre completamente al suo duro allenamento per diventare, un giorno, abbastanza forte da poter battere suo padre, il più forte combattente del mondo. Ora però Baki si vede confrontato con una sfida completamente nuova. Cinque dei condannati a morte più brutali e violenti si sono uniti per sfidare Baki. Non che abbaiano come obiettivo la vita di Baki – anzi al contrario, sono stufi della loro vita. La loro forza e le loro abilità di combattimento hanno fatto sì che non abbiano praticamente più sfidanti, cosa che ha reso una noia la loro vita. Quindi ora vogliono sfidare Baki per poter avere un’ultima volta avere il gusto di partecipare ad un combattimento all’ultimo sangue, sperando che finisca con la loro morte.

Di fronte a questa crisi, Baki si trova contorniato da altri professionisti della lotta dell’underground: Kaoru Hanayama, Gouki Shibukawa, Retsu Kaiou e Doppo Orochi sono lì per aiutarlo. Ha inizio un braccio di ferro come non se ne erano mai visti prima, tra i più brutali combattenti del braccio della morte e Baki con i suoi amici.
