Description

In the near future, the “Gundam” franchise is very popular, especially the Gundam models called Gunpan. The online game “Gunpla Battle Nexus Online” is also hipper than ever: players and their Gunpla dive into virtual space to engage in battles. Once a year, the big Gunpla Force Battle Tournament takes place to determine the best team.

This episode was created to set the mood for the TV series “Gundam Build Divers” and shows the final of the 14th Gunpla Force Tournament, in which Team Avalon, led by Kyouya Kujou, competes against the Seventh Armoured Division. The goal is to take out a certain enemy Gunpla, but Team Avalon’s opponent is no slouch and promptly gets Kyouya and his teammate into trouble …
In naher Zukunft ist das »Gundam«-Franchise sehr beliebt, insbesondere die Gunpan genannten Gundam-Modelle. Auch das Online-Spiel »Gunpla Battle Nexus Online« ist angesagter denn je: Spieler und ihre Gunpla tauchen in den virtuellen Raum ein, unter anderem, um sich dort Gefechte zu liefern. Einmal pro Jahr findet das große Gunpla-Force-Turnier statt, um das beste Team zu ermitteln.

Diese Episode wurde zur Einstimmung auf die TV-Serie »Gundam Build Divers« ausgestrahlt und zeigt das Finale des 14. Gunpla-Force-Turniers, in dem Team Avalon, angeführt von Kyouya Kujou, gegen die Siebte Panzerdivision antritt. Ziel ist es, einen bestimmten gegnerischen Gunpla auszuschalten, doch der Gegner von Team Avalon ist nicht auf den Kopf gefallen und bringt Kyouya und seinen Teamkollegen prompt in Schwierigkeiten …
