Daisuke Doujima is an ordinary high-school student who has dedicated his entire life to an unusual purpose. Ever since he was kidnapped as a child and rescued by a mysterious young woman named Milo, who saw him as the future saviour of mankind, he has prepared himself for this role – much to the amusement of his classmates, who assume he has more than one screw loose.

Even his friends, who were on vacation with Daisuke back when he was kidnapped, and who all saw Milo with their own eyes, don’t believe in his higher purpose. That’s why they are now also thoroughly annoyed by his constant assurances that he believes Milo and that she only announced what would inevitably happen. They are all the more surprised when one day, without warning, the earth shakes and a side wing of the school suddenly disappears as if cut off. Not long after, the school is being attacked by giant creatures, and Milo is suddenly back as well …

Daisuke Doujima ist eigentlich ein ganz normaler Oberschüler, der sein ganzes Leben jedoch einem außergewöhnlichen Zweck untergeordnet hat. Seit er nämlich als Kind entführt und daraufhin von einer mysteriösen jungen Frau namens Milo gerettet wurde, die in ihm den zukünftigen Retter der Menschheit sah, hat er sich auf diese Rolle vorbereitet – dies allerdings sehr zum Gespött seiner Klassenkameraden, die davon ausgehen, dass bei ihm mehr als nur eine Schraube locker ist.

Selbst seine Freunde, die damals mit Daisuke zusammen in den Ferien unterwegs waren, als er entführt wurde, und die Milo alle mit eigenen Augen gesehen haben, glauben nicht an seine höhere Bestimmung. Deshalb sind sie inzwischen auch ordentlich genervt von seinen ständigen Beteuerungen, dass er Milo glaube und dass sie ja nur verkündet habe, was unweigerlich passieren würde. Umso erstaunter sind sie, als eines Tages ohne Vorwarnung die Erde bebt und ein Seitenflügel der Schule einfach wie abgeschnitten verschwunden ist. Kurz darauf wird die Schule von riesigen Kreaturen angegriffen und auch Milo ist plötzlich wieder da …

Daisuke Doujima est un lycéen ordinaire qui a consacré toute sa vie à une cause extraordinaire. Depuis qu’il a été kidnappé lorsqu’il était enfant, puis sauvé par une mystérieuse jeune femme nommée Milo, qui voyait en lui le futur sauveur de l’humanité, il s’est préparé à ce rôle – au grand dam de ses camarades de classe, qui supposent qu’il a plus d’un tour dans son sac.

Même ses amis, qui étaient en vacances avec Daisuke lorsqu’il a été kidnappé, et qui ont tous vu Milo de leurs propres yeux, ne croient pas en sa destinée. C’est pourquoi ils sont devenus très agacés par ses affirmations constantes comme quoi il croit Milo et que, oui, elle ne faisait que proclamer ce qui allait inévitablement arriver. Ils sont d’autant plus surpris lorsqu’un jour, sans prévenir, la terre tremble et qu’une aile latérale de l’école disparaît comme avalée par le sol. Peu de temps après, l’école est attaquée par des créatures géantes et Milo est de retour…

Daisuke Doujima è, in verità, un normalissimo studente delle superiori che però dedica la sua vita ad un obiettivo speciale. Da quando, da bambino, è stato rapito e successivamente salvato da una donna misteriosa di nome Milo che vedeva in lui il futuro salvatore dell’umanità, lui si prepara per questo ruolo, diventando lo zimbello dei suoi compagni di classe che vanno con il presupposto che abbia qualche rotella fuori posto.

Persino i suo amici, che a quell’epoca erano in vacanze con Daisuke, e hanno visto Milo con i propri occhi, non credono al suo fine superiore. Ed è per questo che ormai anche loro si sentono innervositi dalle sue continue affermazioni di credere a Milo e che lei in fin dei conti ha solo predetto quello che inevitabilmente avverrà. Tanto più sono stupiti quando un giorno la terra inizia a tremare e la parte laterale della scuola sparisce come se fosse stata tagliata. Poco dopo la scuola viene attaccata da creature enormi e riappare anche Milo …
