BanG Dream! 3rd Season (2020)

Four months after the success of their live show, life goes on as usual for the members of the girl band Poppin’Party. With band rehearsals, side jobs and work for the student council, the girls hardly have time for anything else, but they still haven’t forgotten their dream.

Then Kasumi Toyama discovers a poster announcing a big event at the Nippon Budokan. When she tells the other band members about it, they become excited and prepare for the big performance. But the band Raise A Suilen, who have become serious competitors of Poppin’Party, are also hoping to win. They only lack a good guitarist, but who knows what fate holds in store for them?

Kasumi’s search for the perfect sound comes to a head in “BanG Dream! 3rd Season”. In addition to a reunion with old acquaintances, new competitors also appear, who give the aspiring stars of Poppin’Party a run for their money. Because in the end, it will be decided on stage who will win the BanG Dream! competition.

Vier Monate nach dem Erfolg ihrer Live-Show geht das Leben der Mitglieder der Girlband Poppin’Party wie gewohnt weiter. Neben Bandproben, Nebenjobs und der Arbeit für den Schülerrat bleibt den Mädchen kaum Zeit für etwas anderes, doch ihren Traum haben sie noch immer nicht vergessen.

Dann entdeckt Kasumi Toyama ein Poster, auf dem ein großes Event im Nippon Budokan angekündigt wird. Als sie den anderen Bandmitgliedern davon erzählt, sind diese sofort begeistert und bereiten sich auf den großen Auftritt vor. Doch auch die Band Raise A Suilen, die sich zu ernsthaften Konkurrenten von Poppin’Party entwickelt haben, hoffen auf den Sieg. Alles, was ihnen dazu fehlt, ist eine gute Gitarristin, aber auch hier wird das Schicksal ihnen auf die Sprünge helfen.

Kasumis Suche nach dem perfekten Ton spitzt sich in »BanG Dream! 3rd Season« immer weiter zu. Neben einem Wiedersehen mit alten Bekannten treten auch neue Konkurrentinnen auf, die den aufstrebenden Stars von Poppin’Party zusetzen. Denn am Ende wird sich auf der Bühne entscheiden, wer die BanG Dream!-Competition gewinnen wird.
