At the end of the 21st century, a rare disease called “Cagaster” broke out, turning humans into huge insects. Two-thirds of the earth‘s population was devoured by these insects before humanity made a decision: they must exterminate the infected people.

In the year 2125 – thirty years after the discovery of Cagaster – at the edge of the desert close to the “cage” of the insects, a young pest exterminator named Kidou finds a man close to death due to the wounds by insects. À la fin du 21e siècle, une maladie rare appelée « Cagaster » s’est déclarée et a transformé les humains en insectes géants. Deux tiers de la population de la planète ont été dévorés par ces insectes avant que l’humanité ne prenne une décision : Les infectés doivent être éradiqués.

En 2125, trente ans après la découverte de Cagaster, un jeune exterminateur nommé Kidou trouve un homme mourant au bord du désert, près de la « cage » des insectes, suite aux blessures infligées par ces derniers. L’homme confie à Kidou sa fille Ilie et lui demande d’aller voir la mère de la jeune fille…

Alla fine del 21° secolo compare una malattia rara chiamata «Cagaster» che trasforma gli umani in giganteschi insetti. Due terzi dell’umanità è stata divorata da questi insetti prima che gli umani hanno preso una decisione: gli infettati devono esser sterminati.

Nell’anno 2125, trent’anni dopo la scoperta del Cagaster, un giovane sterminatore, Kidou, trova ai margini del deserto, nelle vicinanze della «gabbia» degli insetti, un uomo che sta morendo a causa delle ferite causategli dagli insetti. Questo gli affida sua filgia Ilie, e lo prega di portarla dalla madre della ragazzina.
