Baby I Love You Daze (2018)

Inside a Lotte shop, i.e. a shop for sweets, a high school student wants to buy something, as he has done so many times before. But when he reaches for a chocolate bar at the same time as a pretty high school girl, she spontaneously changes her mind, takes something else and leaves the shop. The boy is disappointed by the missed opportunity but makes a decision: if he sees her again, he will not only give her the chocolate bar but possibly also share his feelings.

Annotation:
This animated film was produced because the Lotte confectionery company was celebrating its 70th anniversary. The plot is entirely accompanied by the song “Shinsekai” by the Japanese band Bump of Chicken.

Inmitten eines Lotte-Geschäfts, also einem Laden für Süßigkeiten, möchte ein Oberschüler wie schon so oft etwas kaufen. Als er jedoch zeitgleichen mit einer hübschen Oberschülerin nach einem Schokoriegel greift, entscheidet die sich spontan um, nimmt etwas anderes und verlässt das Geschäft. Der Junge ist betrübt wegen der verpassten Chance, aber fasst einen Entschluss: Sieht er sie wieder, will er ihr nicht nur den Schokoriegel geben, sondern womöglich auch seine Gefühle mitteilen.

Anmerkung:
Weil das Süßwaren-Unternehmen Lotte sein 70-jähriges Bestehen feiert, wurde dieser Animationsfilm produziert. Die Handlung wird dabei vollständig vom Lied »Shinsekai« der japanischen Band Bump of Chicken untermalt.
