Description

Somewhere in Japan, the mixed breed dog, Mametarō, lives with his precious Iku, a high school girl. Told from Mametarō's point of view, these are the tales of a dog’s life.

Die Geschichte handelt von Mametaro, einem Hund, der sprechen kann, von normalen Menschen allerdings nicht gehört werden kann. Er liebt seinen Besitzer Iku-chan sowie seine Freundin Hanako-chan sehr, wohingegen er Ikus Freund Akiyoshi nicht sonderlich gut leiden kann. Aus Mametaros Sicht werden normale Dinge, wie die Schule oder das Flussufer, als eine für ihn große und mysteriöse Welt erzählt, die es zu erkunden gilt.
