Synopsis

In 2014, mysterious aliens appeared near Earth and not only made contact but also made humanity an odd offer: for just one tonne of limestone, they give them a specimen of their advanced technology – an Exoframe. With such a machine, physical work, such as in the mine or the field, becomes child’s play because it is controlled solely by the pilot’s consciousness; the strain on the body is low.

While the aliens promise not to interfere in any human affairs, instead only interested in preserving the limestone, there is initially a lot of scepticism among the humans towards the machines, including even brainwashing theories. Eventually, however, more and more people begin to use Exoframes, but only a year later, the technology of the aliens, now called Peddlers, proves to be a double-edged sword: when a group of farmers use Exoframes to push back an entire squad of heavily armed soldiers and even tanks, the potential of the alien technology as a weapon becomes clear. Soon, a merciless race for military supremacy begins again, as this new weapon can be obtained cheaply by virtually any nation.
