Synopsis

A month has passed since 10,000 players suddenly could no longer log out of the virtual world of Aincrad. Some of them are no longer alive. In the meantime, leading groups have emerged among the players, and the currently most successful are the Aincard Liberation Force and the Divine Dragon Alliance. Until now, their players have mainly pursued the common goal of finding a way out of this dangerous world by reaching the top level.

The battle-hardened youths Asuna and Kirito, as well as the information broker Argo, better known by her nickname “Argo the Rat”, have joined forces and are also making some progress. But a fight to the death awaits the small group, and the major guilds are also being played off against each other by a mysterious person from the background. What is going on in Aincrad?

Not as good as the previous movie, but still a good time.

Also, listening to Nanachi's voice actress is a highlight.
