Synopsis

In “Green Snake”, Xu Xian, Xiao Bai’s husband, is captured by monks, so Xiao Bai and her sister Xiao Qing try to free him. And although they are both snake demons and members of the snake clan, their power does not seem to be enough when they confront the monk Fahai. Thus, Xiao Qing is imprisoned by Fahai underneath the Leifeng Pagoda, but she possibly fares even worse when she is pulled into a portal shortly afterwards.

This is where the misery of the “green snake” really begins: after waking up in the middle of a futuristic-looking metropolis, she has to realise that her demonic powers have apparently dried up. Left to her own devices, Xiao Qing must now find her way around the metropolis of Asuraville, where a wide variety of creatures from different eras are imprisoned and where, among others, a clan of ox warriors cause misery and terror.

On the run from the prevailing powers, Xiao Qing also meets a mysterious man with amnesia and a fox demon who shows Xiao Qing a way out of the world. The price is all her memories, while the alternatives are scarce and far more dangerous.
