Synopsis

The storyteller – an old man with a strange yellow mask and his kamishibai – is back and waiting for the children again at five o’clock in the night. But don’t worry: he brings exciting new tales with him!

Folge 1: »Ein zu kündigender Job«
Das ist die Geschichte eines gewissen Mannes, der nicht wusste, was er tun sollte. Zusammen mit seinem Freund sitzt er gemütlich, ein Bier in der Hand, zusammen, um eine wichtige Frage zu besprechen: Soll er seinen Job kündigen oder nicht? Immerhin beginnen die Puppenköpfe in der Fabrik, in der er arbeitet, mit ihm zu reden …

Folge 2: »Ein Wort zum Abschied«
Das ist die Geschichte von Geschwistern, deren Vater zu Hause starb, ohne dass es jemand mitbekommen hatte. Schockiert, dass ihr Vater so sein Dasein gefristet hatte, besuchen drei Geschwister dessen Wohnung. Mit der Zeit wird ihnen bewusst, wie schlecht sie ihn doch kannten.

Das ist die Geschichte einer gewissen Frau, die vor kurzem umgezogen ist. Dabei wurde ihr direkt der Aufräumdienst zugeteilt, wobei sie nicht einmal weiß, wann die Müllabfuhr überhaupt kommt. Und dann kommt auch noch ein junger Mann mit »Sondermüll« …

Folge 7: »Was im Tunnel geschah«
Dies ist die Geschichte eines Pärchens, das in den Bergen wandern ist. Hungrig und erschöpft wollen sie einfach nur mehr nach Hause, als sie einen Tunnel entdecken. Könnte das wohl eine Abkürzung sein?

Folge 8: »Die Armbanduhr«
Das ist die Geschichte zweier Schwestern, die sich gut verstehen. Sie haben einen schönen Abend zusammen verbracht und es ist auch schon spät geworden; allerdings bemerkt eine Schwester schließlich, dass sie ihre Uhr verloren hat.

Folge 9: »An mein Zukunfts-Ich«
Das ist die Geschichte eines jungen Mannes, der lustlos sein Dasein verbrachte, nachdem seine Träume gestorben waren. Eines Tages findet er allerdings Aufnahmen aus der Vergangenheit, die er für sein zukünftiges Ich aufgenommen hatte.
