Synopsis

Nian Bing is a mage who can use both fire and ice magic through the magic crystals of his dead parents. Because of this, he has been hunted since early childhood by his parents’ murderer, an evil ice mage known as the “Ice Lord”. Although it should be impossible, he manages to use both his magical powers at the same time. However, while fleeing from the Ice Lord’s followers, he falls down the slope of a cliff …

An old man rescues Nian and brings him to his home. There he gives him something to eat that literally knocks Nian’s socks off. The old man reveals himself to be a master chef and he wants Nian to become his new apprentice! Will Nian manage to get his revenge on the Ice Lord despite his new “job” as a chef in training?
