When the famous idol group “Fool’s End” surprisingly announces its dissolution, chaos breaks out in the music world. After all, its members wore the “Tenka Bata”, which can only be owned by the most successful stars in the world. A fierce competition breaks out in which numerous idol groups try to hold their own against their opponents. Sales figures, popularity and successful live performances are to determine which group may now take up the legacy of “Fool’s End”.

When the first battle in the “Battle Royale for the Tenka Bata” is announced at the Kawanakajima Festival, the band X-UC has a problem: Risa Umino, the youngest member, disappears shortly before she was supposed to take the stage with her nine colleagues. The pressure she and her friends were under had become too much. Now X-UC is missing a member just before one of the most important performances of their career. Will they still succeed in writing music history?

Immerhin trugen ihre Mitglieder das »Tenka Bata«, das nur von den erfolgreichsten Stars der Welt gehalten werden kann. Ein erbitterter Wettstreit entbrennt, in dem zahlreiche Idol-Gruppe versuchen, sich gegenüber ihren Kontrahenten zu behaupten. Über Verkaufszahlen, Beliebtheit und erfolgreiche Live-Auftritte soll ermittelt werden, welche Gruppe nun das Erbe von Fool’s End antreten darf.

Als der erste Kampf im »Battle Royale for the Tenka Bata« beim Kawanakajima-Festival verkündet wird, hat die Band X-UC ein Problem, denn Risa Umino, das jüngste Mitglied, verschwindet kurz bevor sie mit ihren neun Kolleginnen die Bühne betreten sollte. Der Druck, unter dem sie und ihre Freunde standen, war zu groß geworden. Jetzt fehlt X-UC ein Mitglied, kurz vor einem der wichtigsten Auftritte ihrer Karriere. Wird es ihnen trotzdem gelingen, Musikgeschichte zu schreiben?
