SpoGomi: World Cup Exhibition Match Arc (2022)

It is the near future; litter picking is now a sport in its own right – the so-called “SpoGomi”. There are even competitive contests in which athletes can take part. Tokio is one of these SpoGomi athletes who has a great talent for picking up trash. He enjoys great popularity … in marked contrast to his classmate Akari, who is more of a quiet wallflower. As she has a great sense for the environment, she could never stand it when rubbish was simply thrown away. However, she usually picked up this rubbish secretly and all by herself from the streets so that no one could see it – at least until now!

Wir schreiben die nahe Zukunft; das Müllsammeln stellt nun eine eigene Sportart dar – das sogenannte »SpoGomi«. Es gibt sogar kompetitive Wettbewerbe, an denen die Sportler teilnehmen können. Tokio ist einer dieser SpoGomi-Sportler, der ein großes Talent dafür besitzt, Müll aufzusammeln. Er erfreut sich an großer Beliebtheit … ganz im Gegensatz zu seiner Klassenkameradin Akari, die eher ein stilles Mauerblümchen ist. Da sie jedoch einen großen Sinn für die Umwelt besitzt, konnte sie es nie verkraften, wenn Abfall einfach so weggeschmissen wurde. Allerdings hat sie diesen Müll meistens heimlich und ganz alleine von den Straßen aufgepickt, sodass niemand es sehen konnte – zumindest bis jetzt!
