D4DJ All Mix (2023)

Haruna Kasuga is usually found with her DJ unit, Lyrical Lily, i.e. in the rehearsal room or at gigs, but this time, she finds herself in the town hall of the small town near the Arisugawa Academy. There, she gets a special assignment from the chamber of commerce: to help the town get back on its feet, her unit is to hold a monthly gig in the hope that as many people as possible will be attracted by it. What sounds like a jackpot, however, is more of a problem because this workload seems a bit too tight for Haruna and her companions – after all, the plan stretches over a whole year!

In order to make it work, they quickly secure the support of the other DJ units, including Peaky P-key, who immediately take over the first gig. Although the concert itself is a success, the campaign goes rather slowly. The DJ units decide to shoot a video about all the sights of the small town next, but this is just another step on the way to a successful campaign; it is already clear that this road will neither be easy nor short.

Haruna Kasuga findet man normalerweise bei ihr DJ-Unit Lyrical Lily, also im Proberaum oder bei Auftritten, doch diesmal verschlägt es sie ins Rathaus der kleinen Stadt nahe der Arisugawa-Akademie. Dort bekommt sie von der Handelskammer einen besonderen Auftrag: Um der Stadt wieder auf die Beine zu helfen, soll ihre Einheit jeden Monat einen Auftritt durchführen, in der Hoffnung, dass durch möglichst viele Menschen angelockt werden. Was sich wie ein Hauptgewinn anhört, ist aber eher ein Problem, denn dieses Pensum erscheint Haruna und ihren Gefährten dann doch etwas zu straff, schließlich erstreckt sich der Plan über ein ganzes Jahr!

Damit die Sache funktionieren kann, sichern sie sich kurzerhand die Unterstützung der anderen DJ-Units, darunter auch Peaky P-key, die sogleich den ersten Auftritt übernehmen. Obwohl das Konzert an sich ein Erfolg ist, verläuft die Kampagne eher schleppend. Die DJ-Units beschließen, als Nächstes ein Video über all die Sehenswürdigkeiten der kleinen Stadt zu drehen, doch das ist nur ein weiterer Schritt auf dem Weg zu einer erfolgreichen Kampagne; schon jetzt ist klar, dass dieser Weg weder leicht noch kurz sein wird.
