Meitantei Conan: Kurogane no Submarine (2023)

Hachijou-jima is a small island located off Tokyo. Here, in the waters of the island, is where the secret operation “Pacific Buoy” is to take place: an operation under the jurisdiction of Europol, which police organisations from all over the world are carrying out together. They plan to use new technology to develop a superior facial recognition system to fight all kinds of crime.

Coincidentally, Conan and his friends are also currently on Hachijou-jima, having accepted Sonoko’s invitation. A short time later, they learn that the Black Organisation is up to no good in Germany and already has a Europol employee on its conscience. But it gets worse because an engineer working on Operation Pacific Buoy has been kidnapped – and with her, a USB stick containing top-secret information about the operation. For Conan and the Detective Boys, this marks the beginning of a new, explosive case …

Zufälligerweise befinden sich auch Conan und seine Freunde gerade auf Hachijojima, die der Einladung von Sonoko gefolgt sind. Bereits kurze Zeit später erfahren sie, dass die Schwarzen Organisation ihr Unwesen in Deutschland treibt und bereits einen Europolmitarbeiter auf dem Gewissen hat. Doch es kommt schlimmer, denn eine Ingenieurin, die an Operation Pacific Buoy arbeitet, wurde entführt – und mit ihr ein USB-Stick, der streng geheime Informationen über die Operation enthält. Für Conan und die Detektive Boys beginnt damit ein neuer, brisanter Fall …
