Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy: Season 2 (2023)

“Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy: Season 2” directly continues the plot of the previous season. After a dramatic battle between Dark Schneider and Abigail, the latter is defeated, partly due to Tia’s spirited efforts. However, the price was high: Dark’s human form, Lucien Renlen, was badly injured, and the castle of Metallicana was destroyed. Everyone involved in that battle seemed to have disappeared – until Tia and the injured Lucien appeared near the border of the kingdom of Iron Maiden.

Two years have passed since then, though the followers of the demon Anthrasax are still searching for the seals to free him. Around 90% of the continent of Metallion has already been subjugated by Kall-Su and his vast army, but there is still no trace of the Seal of Metallicana. Yngwie von Mattstrom, one of Kall-Su’s shoguns, subdues the city of Ronce after a successful attack, but a raid by samurais from A-lan-Maide causes chaos. These samurais are waging war against Kall-Su’s army not only here but all over the country. Among them are also Tia and Lucien, so while Tia takes part in battles, Lucien seems to be incapable of turning back into Dark Schneider since the fight against Abigail …

»Bastard!! Der Gott der Zerstörung: Staffel 2« setzt die Handlung der Vorgängerstaffel nahtlos fort. Nach einem dramatischen Kampf zwischen Dark Schneider und Abigail konnte Letzterer, auch dank Tias beherztem Einsatz, geschlagen werden. Aber der Preis war hoch: Darks menschliche Form, Lucien Renlen, ist stark verletzt und das Schloss von Metallicana wurde komplett zerstört. Alle Beteiligten dieser Schlacht schienen verschwunden zu sein – bis Tia und der verletzte Lucien nahe der Grenze zum Königreich Iron Maiden auftauchten.

Zwei Jahre sind seitdem ins Land gezogen, doch noch immer suchen die Getreuen des Dämons Anthrasax nach den Siegeln, um diesen endlich zu befreien. Rund 90 % des Kontinents Metallion wurden bereits von Kall-Su und seiner riesigen Armee unterworfen, doch vom Siegel von Metallicana fehlt noch immer jede Spur. Yngwie von Mattstrom, einer von Kall-Sus Shogunen, unterwirft nach einem erfolgreichen Angriff die Stadt Ronce, doch ein Überfall der Samurais aus A-lan-Maide sorgt für Chaos. Diese Samurais führen nicht nur hier, sondern im ganzen Land Krieg gegen Kall-Sus Armee. Unter ihnen befinden sich auch Tia und Lucien, doch während Tia an Kämpfen teilnimmt, scheint Lucien seit dem Kampf gegen Abigail unfähig zu sein, sich wieder in Dark Schneider zu verwandeln …
