Description

One day, a boy encounters a robot dog and decides to take him with him. They become best friends, experience little day-to-day adventures together, and go through thick and thin. They are practically inseparable! Well, at least until the boy is called up for war …

Annotation:
“The Dog & the Boy” is an experimental short film in which Netflix, WIT Studio and the AI character platform rinna have teamed up. All background images were generated by an AI. It is an “initiative to reduce the labour shortage in the anime industry”. Nevertheless, the background images were all reworked by a human.

Eines Tages findet ein Junge einen Roboterhund und entschließt sich, ihn bei sich aufzunehmen. Die beiden werden beste Freunde, erleben kleine gemeinsame Alltagsabenteuer und gehen durch dick und dünn. Sie sind quasi unzertrennlich! Zumindest so lange, bis der Junge in den Krieg einberufen wird …
